Sunny Sunday work

Despite it being the sunniest and warmest day so far here in the UK, I still needed to get my little art fix and produced this today, starting at 7.30 am and finishing by midday.

I was going to have her sleeve trim the same deeper pink as her head ribbons but decided to stop at the pale stage as I looked back and felt the ribbons and trim wouldn't be competing for attention if they are kept as seperate colours.

Now to go out and enjoy the sunshine!!

New images!

I have finally been able to sit at my board and create these images.

Lately I've been very unfocused on the drawing side, due to not knowing what to do in the time I have as a result of now being "an artist with day job" :( I found there is so much on the internet about how us artists cope with needing and wanting to create, but needing and wanting to pay the bills too! hehehehe :)

I am so encouraged by knowing that there are many of us out there rushing around making the most of every minute we can for our art, while seeking out time for work, and our friends and loved ones too (including cat!) .

These two images will be available very soon for prints, tubes and cross stitch.

Bank holiday blues 'n' news

Hi and hope you're all having a sunny Bank Holiday ~ LOL no, it isn't sunny here either :(

However! I am making the most of my time out the office, toiling away in my studio. I have added some pictures on my web site of my studio: www.ragdolldesigns.com

I am always interested in seeing the room and locations of where other artists create their work, I find it fascinating ~ which I don't believe mine is, haha.
